In case you haven’t already heard, the subscription sports channel ESPN is available for free to all UK viewers this weekend. This means you can watch it on Sky or whichever digital satellite service you use, as well as Freeview. Simply go to the ESPN channel on your EPG to start watching.
Unfortunately they have chosen a weekend where there isn’t that much on in all honesty, however you may find something that appeals to you.
The highlight is unquestionably the Premier League match between Manchester City and Fulham at 5.30PM on Saturday. For people who do not have Sky, this may be the first time they will have seen a live Premier League match since Sky first bought the rights many years ago.
Apart from this match, there are also live matches being shown from Italy and Germany, including Hamburg v Bayern Munich and Roma v Inter Milan. You also get to see live tennis from the ATP tour, live basketball from the NBA and a fight from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
So there is something for everyone, and to be honest you cannot really complain because you get to watch ESPN for free for a whole weekend.
