The F1 2011 game has been on sale for a few weeks now (the F1 2011 game release date was September 23 2011) and is available for the Xbox 360, Playstation and PC. So the big question that everyone wants to know is – is it actually any good, and should you buy the Formula 1 2011 game?
Well you can get some early feedback from people who have already bought this game by visiting the respective pages on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.
However I have to say that the F1 2011 game does look very impressive. It allows you to take part in the Formula 1 championship (or individual races) with all the real-life drivers such as Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, etc, with the two new tracks in India and Germany both included.
The graphics look absolutely amazing and incredibly life-like and the gameplay is said to be really good as well. The steering and the brakes, and the overall handling generally are very responsive and you can even control KERS and DRS, just like in real life.
There is a real emphasis on multiplayer gaming this time around as well. There is a split screen option if you want to race against one other person (and drive for the same team if you so wish across a whole season, attempting to win the constructors championship and come out as the top driver), and you can also race against 15 other people online to add a whole new dimension to the game.
There is also a career option so you can work your way up from being a complete F1 rookie driving for one of the lesser teams, to a potential world champion driving one of the fastest cars if you are successful. You can race for as many seasons as you like.
The F1 2010 game won numerous awards for it’s impressive gameplay, and it looks like the 2011 version could also do very well because there are several impressive new features.
For example it is the little things such as the inclusion of a safety car and the AI cars being more adaptable to race conditions, as well as some of the more noticeable changes that I have already mentioned, that makes the F1 2011 game even better than it’s predecessor.
